Juanita Mramba is the Corporate Relations Director at Serengeti Breweries Limited (SBL)
Juanita is a seasoned Corporate Relations and Sustainability professional with over 20 years of experience spanning strategic communications, government and media relations, reputation, and crisis management, as well as community engagement and sustainability leadership across multiple sectors.
She joined Kenya Breweries Limited (KBL) in July 2022 as Head of Sustainability and successfully embedded the East African Breweries PLC’s (EABL) sustainability strategy, Spirit of Progress, including the introduction of impactful Annual Sustainability Weeks. Under her leadership, and working with various cross functional teams, awareness and engagement on EABL’s sustainability strategy grew by 16% to 92% in 2023, and a further 5% to 97% in 2025 as per EABL’s staff engagement survey.
Juanita has also led the compilation and differentiated launches of EABL’s Sustainability Reports from 2022 to 2025, working with various internal and external stakeholders. The Reports have received various accolades including the 2025 Excellence in Financial Reporting (FiRe) Award for Sustainability Disclosures under ESG Reporting.
Juanita brings a rich and diverse professional background, having previously served as Head of Corporate Affairs, Brand and Marketing at Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania Limited, and having held different roles with Daimler AG (Mercedes-Benz) Germany, and Maersk Tanzania Ltd.
